  • Is There a Automatic Change Over Propane Valve Without a Regulator?
  • I reached out to one of main suppliers, MB Sturgis and they only offer a regulator with the changeover like the Item # 888001-MBS. You can check to determine if this regulator rated for 500,000BTU's with 11" water column pressure will be enough to replace your current regulator. Otherwise you would need to use a device like the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w/ Hose # 103538-MBS to connect both tanks in line and be able to manually switch on and off each tank.

  • Connecting Nexgrill Fortress to RV
  • This is not something we have available in a kitted package. If you have a pressure regulated propane source available from your RV, then you probably will not want to run the LP through a second regulator on your grill, this will most likely cause your end use pressure to be too low. While there are exceptions, most grills require high pressure to operate. Please note the attached help articles for more information. It appears your Nexgrill Fortress Table Top Grill comes with a Type...

  • Can Valterra Self-Regulating Heating Cable for RV Plumbing keep RV Water Tank From Freezing
  • The Valterra Self-Regulating Heating Cable for RV Plumbing # W01-1573 that you referenced was designed for your exact situation where you want to keep the plumbing and tanks from freezing. Another option that's more popular since it's a waste tank is to basically just pour antifreeze down the drains as it will keep it all from freezing. Typically you only run the heaters on the freshwater pipes/plumbing since it's water that can't have antifreeze since it's for drinking.
